Claudio Parentela is an illustrator, mail artist, cartoonist, and activivist in the international underground scene. He collaborates with many zines, magazines and publishers in Italy and around the world.

During 1999 he was a guest at the Break 21 Festival in Ljubljana(Slovenja). He has recently exhibited at the association Microcosmo(Torino), Girasole(Villa Basilica-Italy), Tabula Rasa (Barcelona, Spain), at the Galerie Slaphanger(Amsterdam), and he has a forthcoming exhibition at the Gallery Soqquadro (Rome) and at "La Cueva" (Milan).

He also collaborates extensively with record labels and has illustrated books of stories and poems. He lives in Italy.
